Trail Maintenance

These events are FUN and SATISFYING! Do your part for the trails and feel great about working for a worthy cause. And don't forget that most of these events are part of the Sinister or Trek trail maintenance series. Every time you participate you are entered into a raffle for a Sinister or Trek mountain bike! The more events you attend, the better your chances.
Most events include about 2 - 3 hours of trail work in the morning, followed by lunch (provided by Blackstone NEMBA) and a ride in the afternoon (contact leader for details). Come for the morning or spend the whole day!
What to wear
Bring long pants, work or garden gloves, sturdy footwear and any tools (pick axe, rakes, loppers, saws) you may have. Please contact the maintenance coordinator for more details.
There is a free lunch
If you attend 2 or more Blackstone Valley maintenance events in a year, we'll buy you lunch on our Volunteer appreciation day event.
